Grand National 2012

Once again the Grand National is nearly here! April seems to arrive quicker and quicker each year. The 2012 Grand National is set to take place on the 14th April and we have the whole event covered on our website www.grand-national.me.uk.

The site has been growing year on year since we uploaded the first page of the site in 2006, from that one page the site quickly grew to 10 pages and then 20, today the total number of articles, news stories and features on the site stands at around 500+.

Back in 2006 we only gave very general information on the runners and riders entered into the race. Today, the site is crammed full of stats, form guides and interactive elements on all the runners, jockeys, trainers and owners. Plus 100s of pages on past results and historical facts.

In late 2011 the site was completely redesigned from the ground up. The new site now allows visitors to post comments, join us on twitter and interact with each other via our Facebook page.

As always we will be tipping up the horses we think have a great chance of winning at Aintree, our record in picking winners is better than most professional punters! When you write about these horses 365 days a year you get a feel for who’s going to do well! Last year we tipped the winner and second place horse! Hopefully this year we’ll get a 1,2,3.
