Bangor-On-Dee Races

Bangor-On-Dee race course is one of the best chilled out race meets of the UK Calender, nestled in the hills outside Wrexham, the course is stunningly beautiful and has it’s own unique atmosphere. There are no wags or posers here. Just people out for a great days racing and it’s all the better for it.

Just £8 will get you and a car onto the open course, I usually go to Bangor to get racing photos for our various betting websites. It’s a great place for taking photos as you can get really close to the action, being a National Hunt course (Jumps) there’s always a few tumbles and falls which make for great action shots. As you can see in the photo above which shows jockey AP McCoy being hit after falling from a horse in a hurdle race.
